ABOUT THE SHOW
Everyone has done stuff they regret; most people bury it in the past. Six months ago Scottee (BBC Loose Ends; Radio 1’s Fun and Filth Cabaret) hired a psychotherapist and a filmmaker to dig up his past. The Worst of Scottee sees Time Out Performer of The Year encounter past flames, ex-friends and people who no longer like him in attempt to find out where he went wrong.
We find out why he pretend to have AIDS, what prompted him to steal money from his Nan, why he told everyone his friend committed suicide when she hadn’t… and attempt to uncover what caused all this behaviour in the first place.
Performed in a photo booth, the audience is exposed to four snapshots of his troublesome teens, intertwined with performance responses that include aggressive tap dancing and performance poetry whilst choking on milk – it’s trademark Scottee mess and mayhem within a confessional booth.
This show will give you reasons not to like him – it is indeed the worst of Scottee.
